The Competition Preparation Meeting – referred to as the main rehearsal of the competition – was held in Budapest in between 4th and 7th of March, 2018.
The main achievement of the event was the clarification of technical details, the site visits of hotels and competition venues as well as the finalization of floor plans and equipment for the September competition.
The competition agenda and other crucial details were clarified by the active involvement of more than 70 experts from 28 European countries as well as 40 Hungarian workshop managers.
In addition to the technical discussions, the Competition Committee and the Strategy Committee also had their assemblies along with the organization’s Annual General Assembly, where the representatives of the 28 countries shaped the future of the organization by their joint decisions.
At the end of the General Assembly, the winner of the EuroSkills 2022 competition bid was announced and the home of the 2022 event will be in St. Petersburg.
